Rooted in the Grand Bazaar of Esfahan, the Shabahang family has been a trusted name in fine Persian rugs for generations. Ahmad Shabahang expanded the business internationally, connecting European clients with exquisite Esfahan rugs. In 1972, recognizing the unmatched potential of the U.S. market, the family opened their first store in Milwaukee, later expanding to Dallas and Chicago. Manouchehr Shabahang, passionate about curating high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces, made Chicago his home in 1988. Today, Shabahang Rugs continues to blend tradition with innovation, helping clients bring timeless elegance into their homes.
